EXPLORE

FUEL Student Ministries exists for students to EXPLORE life as a disciple...

"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." Matthew 4:19

"A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher." Luke 6:40

EXPLORE portrays our concept of discipleship. FUEL Student Ministries seeks to teach students to be like Christ. We use the word EXPLORE because that's what discipleship is ... it is an adventure to learn and practice to become like Christ! EXPLORE indicates that we are on a journey in which we will experience mountain tops and valleys in our spiritual endeavor to live like Christ.

Whether it is through our Sunday AMX lessons, Sunday Night FUEL small group discussions, or Wednesday ACCELERATE bible studies, we provide you with the supplies and tools you'll need as you EXPLORE. We're not afraid of any question or any topic. Study was viewed by the ancients as the most important form of worship. We want to study, learn and practice being like Jesus Christ. Immitation is the highest form of praise (see FOCUS).

“In your lives, you must think and act like Jesus Christ.” Philippians 2:5 (NCV)

One of our goals is to help all students develop HABITS necessary to grow spiritually. EXPLORING life as a disciple requires us to prepare ourselves. Below are 6 Spiritual Practices that will help you become like Christ.

These HABITS are not impossible, but they are challenging. Click on each one for a better understanding.

These "HABITS" or Spiritual Disciplines are not commands. These are simply tools to help you draw closer to God and live a life of evidence. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in living this out. These must start in and be lived from your heart.
