INVOLVED IN CHURCH
“You should meet together and encourage each other.” Hebrews 10:25 NCV

“No man is an island.” John Donne

Being Involved in Church keeps us connected and provides support for our faith journey. Together we celebrate better, worship better, provide guidance better, and are connected to God better.

Celebration CoD, p190 (see reference below)
Join with Christians in fellowship events that involve food, laughter, recreation, and excitement. This doesn’t mean doing “bad” things with other Christians, rather sharing in fun and meaningful activities together that keep a FOCUS on God.

Worship CoD, p158
We FOCUS on God better when it is with other believers.

Guidance CoD, p175
We provide and receive better guidance for our lives with other believers of all ages.

Confess CoD, p143
Seek Accountability with other Christians. Have the guts to be honest with the people around you. Find one person that you can share your life with and let it out. SJ, p45
